IGNOU has opened its 22nd study centre in Margao, Goa. The university had been conducting classes for its students in the state since 2008 through a few rented premises. The new study centre was inaugurated by Union Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar on 18th January, 2018. Spread over an area of 2,000 sq. ft., the study centre is equipped with smart classrooms and will offer nearly 40 courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in arts, commerce, science, engineering etc.
